Come see the private collection of old aircraft and vehicles which was begun by Richard Shuttleworth. Pilot, racing driver, self-taught mechanic and heir to the estate.

About the event
Thanks to one of our members, we have been put into contact with the relevant volunteers at Shuttleworth to attend on May 26, 2024 as the KCCC.
If we have enough members wishing to attend, we will be treated as the KCCC, with a personalised meet and greet together with parking in our own area.
They have an awe inspiring collection of vintage aircraft (the majority of which actually fly), a grass airstrip, a beautiful Swiss Garden, their impressive Shuttleworth House and a small collection of rare vintage cars, motor-cycles, bicycles and buses.
On the elected day, it is hoped that we will have a volunteer assigned to show us around the collection and to get a ride on one of the buses.
The cost of entry on the day for our club members will be £10 per car including all passengers.
They have a good on-site cafe where we can eat as we choose or pre-purchase a bacon/sausage bap and hot drink for £7.50 to set us up before exploring.
